I think that paper qualification is more important but then, it helps to have experience.
To me, experience is much better than a piece of paper.
The paper cannot guarantee that you can do the job well.
Experience certainly can. No paper, no degree, PhD, FRCP, FRACP, FACP etc, no talk. MIC KEY MO USE is optional.
I think that if u can aford and is able to study hard....
might as well go ahead and try to get as much papers as u can before u start work...
Paper is not everything.
Paper is important only in interviews.
After that, it is experiences that counts!
Don't look down on those without paper.
But also do not over estimate those with high paper qualifications.
That both have their merits and weights.
It would be incorrect to say that papers don't have any value because we all know for most of the positions there definitely is a minimum qualification, sometimes formally put or sometimes and implied one. Degree for instance is becoming a minimum requirement for most of the jobs evrywhere around the world.
For me also, work experience definitely is what helps you in selling yourself better, pitches you higher than the rest of the contending people and also helps you personally to perform your new assignments better and more efficiently.
Finally, we need both...
